Lecture on petrified wood on Sunday, Dec. 17, with registration.

We have great pleasure in inviting you to a cozy aperitif and a lecture on the history of petrified wood on Sunday, December 17 at 11:00 am. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. We conclude around 12:30.

For organizational reasons, we work with registration. This can be done by phone, text or WhatsApp at 0468 488 994.

That story starts from the origins of the universe, the creation of our world, the early days of trees, through the petrification process, past the processing of the raw material, to the works of art that end up on the wall today.

It is a story with a big disclaimer about the past (because it involves a lot of guesswork, but we try to be guided by the most recent scientific publications) but with a big certainty about the present: nature is a much greater artist than I will ever be able to be.

We are talking about pieces from Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Madagascar and Turkey.

Once again, there are some fine examples on display of exclusive and outstanding works of art immortalized in petrified wood.
